Liminal Print Shop
Liminal Print Shop is Celeste Inez Mathilda (they/Them). Celeste is an Animist Printmaker, Zinester, Herbalist in training and Counsellor. Their prints and Zines are often themed around building relationships with plants and the natural world, mental health, Self-Care, and Rural life.
About the name! Liminality is a powerful place; any time we're given only two options, the path forward will be somewhere between or beyond. Being beyond the binary takes bravery and strength and it's a great skill to foster in these times.
Celeste works almost entirely with repurposed materials, and their design and printmaking process is fully analog.
Their latest piece is a completely hand lettered and hand-painted manifesto for handmade art / a protection spell against ai.
Their current project is a hand-carved linocut pushing back on toxic positivity, making space for real feelings, and encouraging the art of communicating truth with kindness.
