Kshellrude studios
Kathleen Shellrude is a mixed-media artist and experimental ceramicist known for her playful, character-driven work.
She creates vases shaped like women, mugs with expressive lady and monster faces, and cute, relatable monsters—some functional, some purely sculptural.
Her practice also includes small, joyful objects like keychains and tea strainers shaped as ghosts, mushrooms, faces, and unapologetically human forms, including vaginas and boobs.
Each piece invites whimsy, comfort, and personality into everyday rituals.
