GigPosters204 is a virtual art gallery featuring the collected gigposter work of Stu Reid. If you’ve ever attended a concert in Winnipeg that was advertised with a locally produced poster, there’s a good chance he designed it.

Stu has been designing (and collecting) gig posters in Winnipeg for 40 years. Not so much as a graphic artist but as a passionate fan who wanted to be part of the scene he loved and was hopeless at doing anything else. He CAN bend a note on a harmonica, though.

Besides selling original editions, 2nd printings, and reproductions of 100s of gigposters ranging from 1956 to today, Stu hosts the award-winning TwangTrust, heard Wednesdays at 6pm on CKUW 95.9FM. Also at the forefront of the house concert scene in Winnipeg, The StuDome has hosted the likes of Jane Siberry, Wreckless Eric, Chuck Prophet, John K. Samson, and dozens of other international musicians.
