DWV started out of a need to create.

Alone in BC struggling with their mental health and identity, art kept them alive.

Kept them going.

Getting diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, depression and an anxiety disorder was a heavy blow. But making jewelery gave them peace and a sense of usefulness.

Surrounded by the beauty in BC, Delaney turned her pain into art.

Taking things apart and making something new has always been something Delaney loved.

They spent alot of time with her grandma. She was gentle and willing to let Delaney create and express herself (even if that meant paint everywhere and broken jewelery that wasn't broken before)

From picking, sourcing and reading she fell in love with vintage. A time gone by, but potentially found in a tangible piece of clothing , jewels or decor.
